He loves to slowly walk along the hedge line in the backyard like he is looking for something and then sneak around the end to go see what the neighbor dogs are doing.

Charlie came to us from the great folks at Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida almost a year ago and in this short period of time he has already given us a lifetime of memories. I would have to say his ability to know what my next move is going to be is the best. I am retired, so Charlie and I are together all day. He is my shadow. Wherever I am ,Charlie will be right by my side. One of our favorite things is the morning. We have an old clock that chimes the hour and the half-hour. When Charlie hears the clock chime at 5:30am he knows it is time to get up and comes to my side of the bed and I get a lick on the face. He can hear the clock chime any other time and he never moves, just 5:30. No better way to start the day off. Then he is like Dad, he has to have blueberries on his cereal also, and if you don’t put them on his he will let you know with a little whine. So funny.
